Poll question: Why did Faux News (online) report on Downing Street?
Edited on Wed Jun-01-05 08:55 AM by sabra
Faux actually put together a pretty fair report on the DSM (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,158228,00.html). While I was actually shocked and kind of elated to see this, my gut reaction to this was WHY?

2. I stand by my original speculation...
Impeach the son, so that Cheney can get on the king's chair, oh, and Cheney can pardon him too.

5. Combination of #1 and #3
Now FAUX can say that they reported on the memo, and that they were "fair and balanced" about it. They know that very few people read their website.

FAUXNews.com even carried the story about Prescott Bush funding Hitler, once the AP finally picked up the story. But it never was a topic on O'Reichly or Hannity and Colmes

6. There are times when COMPLETELY ignoring a story draws attention...
to the story. Faux was simply providing a little "Oh, we reported on that" cover during a news day when the attention was elsewhere.

7. They know how damning it really is and wanted to respond to help
Dumbfuckbya by having something beyond "it's crap" as an argument against it...
