Apparently there are a lot of people even at DU who don't know what "extraordinary rendition" is - yet another sign of how this information has been so thoroughly suppressed in this country. Be sure to get the REAL story from the work of UK investigative journalist Stephen Grey, linked to in an older thread in the opening post of the linked thread.

2. Thanks! I hope this does get more widely known. Like the other aspects

of the human rights abuses (what a huge understatement) of this administration, this practice of kidnapping and outsourcing interrogation needs careful scrutiny. I'd like to see a group of DUers start to study this carefully and collect evidence to supply to government and civil liberties workers.
