Protest New Law that Undermines Fight Against HIV/AIDS
I haven't seen this before. My apologies if it's a dupe or if it belongs elsewhere; I've been out of the loop lately, but I thought this was worth bringing to people's attention:

A dangerous new Bush administration rule threatens efforts to treat HIV/AIDS and to slow the spread of the disease by requiring all HIV/AIDS organizations receiving USAID funding to officially condemn prostitution or lose funding. While none of these groups wants to promote prostitution, condemning and stigmatizing many of the people they work with would hurt their ability to fight HIV/AIDS and to reach out to people living with the disease to help them manage their illnesses. Act now to ask the Bush administration to remove this obstacle to fighting HIV/AIDS and saving the lives of people infected with the virus.
