It is time to start referring to the Media as, not Biased, but Incompetent
They can shrug off the Biased complaint and laugh about it but when we start addressing them as Incompetent, which is what they truly are then I am sure they will start feeling the sting a little. When they refuse and I do mean REFUSE to cover a Major Story they are Incompetent. No other way to describe their actions or should I say lack of actions. Bush* LIED and thousands have died. Proof is all over the Internet with the "Official British Government Minutes" of an Official Government Meeting between the US and Great Britain. It is becoming IMPOSSIBLE for them to continue saying they have never heard of them. They are INCOMPETENT period.

1. How About Lazy
Incomptent is the end result. Cheap and lazy are what creates it. CNNServative is a great example. Look how many stories they do are either in or around Atlanta, Washington or New York...or within driving distance. This works for runaway brides and non-stop talking heads and staged media events.

This is "news" by formula. Part "reality show", part "entertainment"...intended to draw numbers and to do so in the cheapest way possible. The more scripted and orchestrated the event the better as it then means even greater ways to cheapen the coverage.

Going after a news story...paying for free-lancers and staffing bureaus around the world that can get first-hand information rather than rely on "sources" is expensive and hurts the profits and stock prices. That's what really matters in the end.

5. I wish there was a national club whose purpose was to GAME them...
simply in order to HIGHLIGHT their abysmally ineffective, dangerous practices & policies

that only wind up HURTING America in the end :(

something like those reality shows were famous people GAME/PUNK one another

betcha the evil minds of DU could come up with some compelling scenarios that would be IRRESISTIBLE to the pitiful run-away bride chasing, M$MWs :P

:hi:

6. Hiya Billy, In A Way We Do
I enjoy reading the threads of the various TV shows people are watching here...especially the live running commentary. I think it'd be neat to have a "Viewing Room" type forum here where people can go to discuss the shows they're watching...put up the lies and then debunk them. It could be a good resource.

Some sites...Media Matters, TV Newser, Mediahounds and several other sites do a good job in catching a lot of this slip shod, but each has its own focus that doesn't really match the other. DU serves as a good clearing house...but again, things move so fast around here, something can slip by and many miss out on what could be something of value.

Remember, knowing their game IS gaming them. These people have super thin skins and the fun is getting under it...especially when they can't get under yours!

Cheers

:hi:

3. good point
though bias is true and demonstratively pro reTHUG/corp party, it is always quickly, pithily and smugly dismissed as "when everyone sees bias, you know we are doing a god job" :puke:

the M$MW need to be held to account.

they piss me off more than the politicians since i expect them to be biased spinners but the MEDIA is supposed to be independent WATCH-DOGS :argh:

if an ignorant punk philly kid can see their incompetency DAILY then i know we got MAJOR problems.

i hate how they like to claim that the viewers want CRAP & got SHORT memories when it's a STUPID cop-out for their OWN failings starting with those two!

we need to call & write in to every media outlet at every opportunity to point out their INCOMPETENCY in polite and sympathetic tones of course ;->

:hi:

peace

7. I think Cowardly works well.
Yeah, I know, we can't agree on anything! But, cowardly gets at the heart of the matter, and has some sting. I am comfortable with truthful insults.
