Felt is senile and doesn't have a clue about what's happening.

2. I think he handed a problem to his family by getting old and talking

about it. The family knows that he will be outed when he dies. So then they would be vulnerable. I couldn't just stand around and wait for that to happen to my family - could you?

I think the family likely needed to do something. And if making you famous means you automatically get rich - so be it.

It isn't as though they could have kept the secret. As soon as he died the truth would be out. And then they would be in the same place. So what are you going to do? Hold off on life because you know your life will change drastically? Or take it while you have a little control over it.

At 91 - he may just be slow. He may still be able to answer some questions. I wouldn't want to be them. They were just minding their own business and being a family. It will explode all over them some day. Why not now.
