Take a look at Corn's posting on Huffington. He's got it right and our politicians ONA ALL LEVELS should pay attention to this.

... What strikes me now is the asymmetry between the left and right on this topic. If you were to attend the Conservative Political Action Conference (the grand meeting of rightwingers in Washington), you undoubtedly would hear many speakers from the platform--particularly Republican leaders--talk supportively about the war without hesitation. And the crowd would be in sync with these speakers. But over on the left, the friendly political leaders who drop by to address the troops avoid Iraq, and the crowd is disappointed and even angry. The bottom line: there is a disconnect in the progressive/Democratic world that does not exist in the conservative/Republican world. As long as that remains, it will likely be harder for the gang here to "take back" America.

1. The Downing Street Minutes opens the door for the "Left" to speak out

on Iraq. THEY WERE LIED TO. They never would have voted for the invasion had they known what they know now. After the Minutes come out on the Senate floor on Monday, I think we will see a "connection" and the Progressives and the Democrats will be on the same page. At least that's my hope. :shrug: It could happen. Maybe?

It was obvious what * was up to. They had 2 months before the election. The senate should have just shelved the vote until after the election. * started this just so he could screw up the mid-term elections. Why are so few Democrats in Washington getting this? Do they all watch FOX News? How could they not know that was the game plan with *? Then there were the letters against giving * the authority. I heard it was 100 to 1 against. Then there were the demonstrations. Plus the Constitution says congress declares war. The Dem screwed up big time. And here we are.
