Good Riddance Judy Woodcroft!
Don't let the door hit you on your Fascist-ennabling ASS on the way out.

Her star-struck admiration of the Bush Crime Family and their wealth and power has become an embarrasment.

When she gleefully piled on Dan Rather and CBS with her own "investigative" report on the Karl Rove-engineered forged memo scandal she removed all doubt as to her bias.

High paid Repub-licking Whore.

:tinfoil:
On the other hand, her "resignation" might mean there's a storm on the horizon for her favorite American dynasyty - and she can't stomach having to report on the downfall of the chimp????

we can hope?

8. Sorry to hear about that. As politics go, she tried to keep a real
balanced view - which means that, yes, she would have RWers on the show, too. Who would they replace her? Donna Brazil and Bay Buchanan?

And it appears that Al Hunt is no longer with the Wall St. Journal - one of the few sane voices.

25. They must've changed their plans (link inside):
Personally, I haven't watched CNN in over a year.

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - CNN will debut a three-hour, late-afternoon show hosted by Wolf Blitzer that will replace "Crossfire" and "Inside Politics" sometime this summer.

The show, which does not yet have a name, will run from 3-6 p.m. ET. Blitzer, who already hosts two hours weekdays (noon-1 p.m. ET and 5-6 p.m. ET) and "Wolf Blitzer Reports" on Sundays, will be the primary host.

Details have yet to be worked out, but Jon Klein, president of CNN/US, said Tuesday that it would showcase the network's reporting and analytical assets with a special focus on breaking news.

"It will offer a new and enticing way to look at the world for busy people," Klein said.

33. Thank you. During the election campaign
he was reduced from print journalist to being online which I did not always catch but would occasionally post here, with almost universal reaction: this is from the Wall St. Journal? Or, and he is married to Judy Woodruff?

And then I just did not pay attention, though I was going to complain to the WSJ about his absence from the print. Seems that he left right after the elections.

35. Did you know that she and her hubby were blasted by W in 1986?
I decided to do a google search on her and found the following excerpt:
Woodruff is married to Wall Street Journal executive Washington editor Al Hunt, a liberal pundit who also appears regularly on the Sunday talk shows. In April 1986, while the couple was eating at a Dallas restaurant with their 4-year-old son, a very pissed-off George W. Bush stormed over to their table and unloaded on Woodruff's husband: "You fucking son of a bitch. I saw what you wrote. We're not going to forget this." (Hunt's transgression was having predicted in the Wall Street Journal that Jack Kemp would win the 1988 Republican nomination instead of Vice President George H.W. Bush.)

Sounds like she tasted his wrath and succumbed instead of fighting for herself.

Written by Joe Wilson

WASHINGTON DC (PoopyCaca.com) – Judy Woodruff has announced that she will be leaving CNN, and the show that bears her name, "Inside Politics with Judy Woodruff," in June to pursue "her tap dancing dreams." The news was yet another blow to CNN in its battle to recapture the ratings crown from the "fair and balanced" cable news gorilla, Fox News.

As part of the ratings war with Fox, CNN plans to launch a cable news channel "Inside the Internet" and cancelled the still on the air debate-train-wreck Crossfire, which prompted DaimlerChrysler to rename its car of the same name.

CNN had a scare in April when Wolf Blitzer took time off for a beard transplant and was surprised in March when Lou Dobbs quit the network to guard the U.S. border. The announcement that Woodruff had decided to leave was also a surprise to CNN, which was in the midst of contract negotiations with the newscaster at the time.

According to an unnamed source at CNN, "We were all sitting in the conference room with Judy and her agent, Irene Feldman, and Judy just refused to talk. The only way she would communicate was by dancing, tap dancing," the source said. "It was like she was filibustering us with tap. She wouldn’t even consider an offer, she just kept dancing around the room." Judy Woodruff declined repeated requests for an interview, but Irene Feldman, Woodruff’s agent, translated her tap routine to English. "She has decided to leave the network to pursue her tap dancing dreams and open the ‘Judy Woodruff Tap Studio’ in Augusta, Georgia. She never stopped dancing and is known within the beltway for her performances at the White House Correspondents dinner and her infamous Rose Garden routine, which she performed for President Reagan as he recuperated from an assassination attempt."

Sorry, forgot the link.
