Mr. Bush, are you concerned about a Deepthroat in your Admininstration?
Do you have any idea who might be on the verge of telling the secrets of this White House? Do you ever worry about something like that? Or is your White House so spotless that there are no secrets to tell? Do you trust everyone 100% of the time? Does everyone trust you 100% of the time? Nixon thought his White House was leakproof also...

2. The question I have that comes to mind is...
is it possible to have a real Deep Throat today?

First, we have so many technological advances that finding, tapping, and tracking someone is a lot easier. Deep Throat today would run a much greater risk.

Second...who would he call? We already have the truth all over the net...but it doesn't do much good to the general public awareness. Deep Throat had an impact because there were two Washington Post reporters who were allowed to chew the hell out of the story and splash it all over the front page of one of the country's major Papers...and the Networks then had a reason to follow it up.

Today...who would you call that would actually pick the story up. Remember the Dilulio Letters? There was someone...how about Wilson...we've had people speak the truth. But without the NYT, WP, or ABC News running it with full force it doesn't appear to gain traction.

Now we have the DSM...it's EVERYWHERE except the MSM...bizarro world.

The WH leaks like a sieve...but I'm afraid that the people who have to be there to catch the water are out to lunch...and paid too well to be there.

5. But it's so easy to set up a fake id on the net
And you can do it all from a public library. You can set up a free blog and then spill to your heart's content.

9. What we do on the internet is not very private
even a public library post is going to be traceable in minutes...once they know where it came from and when...all it takes is a couple posts to locate a pretty small list of suspects.

At the same time...we return to the other question...so someone speaks a bunch of TRUTH on the internet...that's already being done. It hasn't been ENOUGH. We appear to need someone in a position to make this Mainstream and Front Page to really launch it. Otherwise Deepthroat is just another anonymous poster spouting whatever.

Who would they contact who would have the power and the bravery to make it front page today? Even Bill Moyers didn't have enough Clout to get these things into the public eye.

Is there a young Helen Thomas out there? A Berstein? (I detest Woodward).

7. That paints a pretty dismal, but accurate picture
Seeing how certain people (some of whom were laughable considering they are now felons) came out to demonize Felt this week, I took it as a way the current administration/GOP of trying to sway the nation to not consider him or anyone like him a hero. Getting the public ready for any fall out that would be sure to come if there were an honest media.

6. Even Deep Throat could be Deep Throat today. We don't have a media
anymore. Without the media really pushing Watergate during Nixon's time, it would never have gotten any where.

Several high leval Bush people HAVE spilled the beans, but it does no good if the media does not do their duty.

Just an example of how badly the media is letting the public down in the present time. Very sad for us and them.

8. Weren't Clarke and O'Neill deep enough?
I mean what they have revealed is as big as anything Felt ever told W & B.

The sheeple don't care. The media is a joke. Bush isn't concerned, and he doesn't have to be.

10. We've already had several of them. The corporate media unites to ignore
them. If they can't be ignored, then the corporate media invites a line-up of right-wing hacks to smear their reputation round the clock until the story *can* be ignored.

If Mark Felt did his thing today, you would never hear about it.

11. Today's "Deep Throat" will be an honest newspaper...
The truth about Bush's lies is out there. They don't even hide their crimes and evil anymore.

Look at Haliburton.

Look at Cheney's secret energy meetings.

Look at BushCo paying off reporters to propagandize their agenda

Look at Gannon getting access.

Look at the sickening failure that is Iraq.

Look at the lies Bush told us to get his war.

Look at the mercury in our bodies.

Look at the exploding, unprecedented national debt.

Look at the PNAC agenda--in plain site on the Web--coming to fruition.

Look at Guantanamo.

Look at Abu Graib.

Look at the stolen election.

Look at the security threat posed by our open borders.

Look at the erosion of the US Dollar.

Look at them systematically installing a theocracy.

Look at our constitutional rights being spat on by the Patriot Act.

...and so on and so on.

The stories are out there. They don't even hide their evil.

We don't need a reporter to dig. No digging needs to be done. All of the stories are THERE for the taking--if some newspaper or other media outlet will make the decision to report the truth and save this country from these evil, cowardly thugs.

12. What do we need a dedep throat for? We have enough on these creeps
to put them in jail for decades. If the White House mole on tbrnews.org is real, these guys are sexual perverts on top of everything else. * should have been impeached for trying to stop the 9-11 investigation. He should have been impeached for letter the bin Ladins leave the country. He should have been impeached for hiding 9-11 evidence. And that was just 2001. The list could go on and on. We just need an upset public to scare the House into starting impeachment proceedings.
