Could someone explain this logic to me, please?

Our solemn visit

This Memorial Day holiday weekend, I took my 15-year-old granddaughter to Washington, D.C., where we visited Arlington National Cemetery and saw the Tombs of the Unknown.

I wanted to share with her the honor it is for us to pay tribute to the brave men and women who paid the ultimate sacrifice so we could be free. This visit also reminded me why I so dislike "liberals" and the "liberal press."


Read this letter in the Dallas Morning News this morning and couldn't help but shed a tear. Has it really come to this? Has America become this divided that a visit to a military grave site causes hatred instead of remorse and peacefulness? I can't even follow the logic of how the writer went from honoring vets to hating "liberals". Someone want to explain the logic?

but it isn't hard to project what the writer said.

If you want to make an answer, you might ask this person if it is 'liberals' who sent our kids to Iraq without proper body and vehicle armor; if it was 'liberals' who cut the hazardous duty pay; if it was 'liberals' who cut the family allowance for military personnel; if it was 'liberals' who cut support for the VA and denied wounded soldiers medical care.

You might also want to ask if it was 'liberals' who sent our kids to die for a lie.
