41. It's thrilling and a good thing, but I do think they should have told you.

But the important things are first, that this is a great post with very valuable information and links, and second, that it has been so recognized (thus showing also that they read at least part of DU) and posted where more people will see and use it. DU is so huge, and even its very best threads are evanescent - that's its single biggest flaw IMO. Once the threads are gone, there's really no good way of finding the best ones easily again, since searching can turn up hundreds of hits that can't be looked at individually because of their numbers.

So congratulations! And maybe we should consider cross-posting in other venues when a thread is as valuable as yours - until such time as DU evolves a high-quality thread browser function that lasts for a long time.
