Today I attended a Media Fair in St Paul Minnesota and got to mention DemocraticUnderground, TruthOut and Reporters Without Borders in my question about CNN's co-founder's positon on media's responsibility to lie for the government.
There was a panel of 4 up front, one conservative, and he was saying that there wasn't any "proof" that reporters had been targeted by the US and I supplied him (off the top of my head) with the main article that convinced me - TruthOut investigative report / Two Lies and a Murder - about the 2 killed in Baghdad near the start of the war.
Did a kickback to Hillary & Friends because they send me these form letters, but no one has answered me as to why the Count Every Vote Act is sitting in committee. Friday, June 03, 2005 1:15 PM
Friday, June 03, 2005 1:07 PM Sent a "Thank You for Speaking Truth to Power!" email to the Bangor Daily News for their June 02, 2005 article "Administration's Offenses Impeachable" with a clarification:
However, there is one flaw in this article that must be ammended... "What's curious is why anyone like me should have to even point this out. Don't our senators and congressmen feel betrayed? Are they content to continue the murdering rather than do what truth demands?"
I suggest that you ammend your article to state that at least 89 Members of Congress are dealing with this issues led by John Conyers.
House Rep John Conyers has already 87,000 citizen signatures on a letter demanding accountability for these actions described in the Downing Street Memo and many, many Democrats and even some Republicans are right in step with the quest for the truth and impeachment to those who have locked step with the lies.

Letter to Pres Bush Concerning "Downing Street Memo"

As a result of these concerns, we would ask that you respond to the following questions:
1) Do you or anyone in your administration dispute the accuracy of the leaked document?
2) Were arrangements being made, including the recruitment of allies, before you sought Congressional authorization to go to war? Did you or anyone in your Administration obtain Britain's commitment to invade prior to this time?
3) Was there an effort to create an ultimatum about weapons inspectors in order to help with the justification for the war as the minutes indicate?
4) At what point in time did you and Prime Minister Blair first agree it was necessary to invade Iraq?
5) Was there a coordinated effort with the U.S. intelligence community and/or British officials to "fix" the intelligence and facts around the policy as the leaked document states?
These are the same questions 89 Members of Congress, led by Rep. John Conyers, Jr., submitted to you on May 5, 2005. As citizens and taxpayers, we believe it is imperative that our people be able to trust our government and our commander in chief when you make representations and statements regarding our nation engaging in war. As a result, we would ask that you publicly respond to these questions as promptly as possible.
Senator Kerry has declared his support in this search for the truth about why we got in this war in the first place since the reasons presented keep changing as more of the facts come to light. However, Robert's Rules of Order and the political climate of a country that believes everyone is innocent until proven guilty requires that we examine the evidence and then call for impeachment based on the evidence.
I am certain Ted Kennedy and Barbara Boxer and Harry Reid are on board with this process. I've even read an article by a Republican that called for impeachment, based on these lies. Of course this is all a surprise to the main stream media, but thank you for standing up and speaking truth to power.
