Anyone here read State of Fear? My friend is, but hasn't given me any
opinions yet. He's not an anti-environmental freeper or anything like that, just a loyal Crichton reader.

I think anyone who goes to a novel to justify a scientific argument has some serious issues, but anyone know if the book is good at face value?

1. I wouldn't even bother. For crichton to say what he said is enough for
me not to read any of his books or ever watch another film based on his books. They boycott us, why the hell should I give them any of my time or money?

I'm too pissed to even feel a bit reasonable any more!

2. know if any scientists in the climate community has debunked Crichton?
There has got to be a slam dunk trashing of his "footnotes" (oh god the earth just shattered) somewhere out there.

4. I read it and hated it. Creighton has shown his true colors.
Environmentalism is evil and industry does more good to the environment than environmentalists do.
The stereotyping of the environmentalist actor was disgusting!
