It's a little much to expect them to now be critical. General Electric sent their best reporters over there as "embeds". Remember the MSNBC reporter, a young guy, that died in the war? They were riding up front on the equipment, reporting first-hand. They were repeating all the lies that were being fed them by Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Bush. They were quick to ask the softball questions to the generals at their daily briefings in Baghdad.

But things were much better then. They could move around Baghdad. Now they will get their asses shot off or will be kidnapped. My O My! How things have changed in just one short year? But don't expect the cheerleader reporters to tell the truth about that disaster in Iraq. They repeated all the lies about WMD, aluminum tubes, and biological weapons that were going to be used against us. Don't expect them to tell the truth. They were part and partner to the crime. They should be tried for treason.

bring them BACK to doing their JOBS reporting the TRUTH and getting to the crux of any issue and not parrot the party lines if we are to have ANY hope of dealing effectively with the neoCON 'crazies'.

see the thugs know they only got a few years to win ANY imperial war provoked these days by us (aka: POLICE/HUMANITARIAN Action) before the media wise up.

once they've lost the media, after time, they KNOW they're all done then and i think it will happen quicker than VIETNAM, we're on INTERNET TIME :bounce:

thinking back to where we were with the media for 2 years after 911 the tone has definitely changed with some media folk and like a VIRUS the infection will spread quickly based on it's doubling time... and once we reach the TIPPING POINT it will all come down very rapidly for the neoCONs.
