Underground Bases - some Denver International Airport info, too
I was hunting for a web site showing all the military bases here in the U.S. This site turned up in my Google search. http://www.anomalies-unlimited.com/Bases.html

I thought to post it since there was a large paragraph on Denver International which was the subject of some recent threads. :tinfoilhat: I have to take a drive over there to see the art that DUers were talking about.

Btw, does anyone know of a site that lists all the bases within the US? There are tons of sites about our worldwide bases but I haven't found one yet for the 50 states.

2. Hmmm
Where's the site article and photos? I'm 20 minutes away from DIA, and have a flight out in July.

6. I remember seeing a few threads on DIA in the past few days
People were talking about bizarre art and people moving art around. Something that looked like coffins. I don't remember seeing any when I've been out there. But I haven't been inside very often. Just dropping off and picking up. Now I want to head out there and take a look. It's been a really long time since I was there.

3. Sure there are lots of underground bases in the US
And the main reason they are underground? To store paperwork. Reams and reams of paperwork that cannot be destroyed, and has to be kept by law.

There is an underground tunnel in the Santa Cruz mountains that has filing cabinet after filing cabinet of all the military memos that went on from WWII to the sixties.

10. Oh! I thought you said SC Colorado!
Lakewood is just west of Denver. But the funny thing is, I Googled up Santa Cruz, Colorado and found that terrific archaeology web site about SW Colorado and NW New Mexico. I just signed up for the newsletter and hubby and I just talked about driving down to do some camping and exploring. See what you started!

12. It's a valley area
And now that I'm looking at the map on the site, it looks like it's in southern Arizona and northern Mexico. This is fascinating!

4. Cheney has spent a lot of time in Denver in recent years.
Guess that would explain why. I wish I would have known about this shit when I was there in 2002. Might have done some research at the airport myself.
