5. Long form human interest/community public figure story
for my website. He also sits on our city council. I don't want it to be an adversarial interview by any means but that doesn't mean we can't pose some intriguing questions.

6. No, but I am a Pagan
which I think I'll forget to inform him of. I used to be Baptist too so it should be an interesting little flashback.

15. How does he plan to do his best for ALL citizens of the city, not just
the ones who vote for him. What is he going to do to represent everyone's interests? That is what elected officials are supposed to do, but we've gone down this partisan road and need to start taking it back from the grass roots level. Where he sits.

22. What state? there are some wide varieties in Baptist.
The southern Baptist were taken over and most of the liberals purged a few years ago. One interesting question for him would be how were you hired for your present gig?

Most baptist ministers are itenerant, They sign on or get hired by the individual church rather than being assigned by a higher organization. So they serve "at will" of their congregation, or more correctly "at the pleasure" of their selection committee. The repubs started out infiltrating the selection committees in the 70's and 80's and making sure that some of the more liberal or low-key baptist churches got hand picked political operatives.
This method insures that there is never any dissenting view to whatever the local prejudices are.

25. Ask him if it'll bother the kids seeing so many nekkid people during
the rapture.

How did Noah sex the Zebra finches?

and... Where the hell did they keep the food for all those animals?

Does he really believe that a talking snake didn't give eve a clue something was up or was Eve jsut exceptionally stupid?
