3. Is there a bank/credit card company with mostly democrats?
I have MBNA credit cards and hate them. Their customer service sucks. I got a late charge because their online autopay thing didnt work (even though they pimp it everytime you call). I called up to explain and ask for the late fee waived since it was really thier fault. The CS rep says "hmm, i can give you half back, but thats it". I tell her, look, either I'm getting the whole thing or you can close my account. Without hesitation, she says "okay, your account is closed as of today, you will get a final statement in the mail."

Well, I ended up at my bank (wachovia), and as I was depositing some stuff I mentioned my problem with the CC and how I really hate how Wachovia has outsourced their CC stuff to MBNA. Well the lady calls some secret direct number, and talks to her rep. Gets my CC reinstated and waives the late fee. She appologies and says if I ever have a problem to come directly to the bank, dont call the MBNA CSRs.

Obviously, the louder and longer you whine, chances are you'll get something, since the bank in this case doesnt want to lose all the assets to a competitor.

I'd gladly take my money to a "blue" bank if there is one..
