Two Kinds of Neighbors in my Neighborhood: Barbara Boxer & Melanie Morgan

I live in Marin County, CA in an area called Greenbrae. I have two particular neighbors I see often at the supermarket. One is Barbara Boxer and when I see her we have great conversations and I commend her on her good work and keeping up the good fight. Then there is my other neighbor...a woman named Melanie Morgan. Any one know who she is? Well, in her mind everyone should know her, most think she is a joke. She is the co-host of KSFO's morning radio show and is a right-wing nut job. She is also co-chairman of "Moving America Forward" (you all know that lil group, right?) She is a big proponent of John Bolton and the Bush Neo-con cabal.

What would you reccommend I say to her if the next time I have the misfortune of driving up next to her fascist vehicle with "Freedom isn't Free" signs next to mine while she snears at my "Out of Iraq" sticker on my car?

We here in California have her apparentely to thank for the Gropenator...she was one of the big drivers/supporters of the Recall Gray Davis effort.... :puke:

1. If the war is right, why did Bush lie to start it,

he could have saved a lot of time by starting before 9/11.

Since she is so gun ho and thinks that those of us who don't support this war are anti-american, I'd ask her when she is going to have her son (her only child) sign up to go to Iraq...

3. Another good one is

if the war is right why haven't we had any national memorial day to remember them? Why hasn't Bush been to ONE funeral of a solider and spoke with their family? Why don't you ever hear of their deaths on shows like Fox, CNN, MSNBC anymore? Why did the Pentagon hide the caskets and bring them back late at night and not let families take photo's? Why did Bush lie when he and his group said it would be "quick and easy" and the "oil will pay for itself" and we'd be greeted as liberators with flowers and candy? Why don't you ever hear stories on the news anymore with Iraq? Not even the good news. Oh and of course why did Donald Rumsfeld for the longest time sign death letters with an automatic pen and not even his real signature? He only started doing that publicly after it was found out. Of course now he probably doesn't.
Oh and I almost forgot. Why isn't the Pentagon releasing recruitment information anymore? Aren't people joining to "defend our freedoms"? I thought people loved the war.

5. Melanie Morgan is the wife of one of the KSFO right-wing honchos..

6. I didn't know Morgan was nuts

I'll pay more attention (when I'm not listening to kpfa or AAR) but you know what is so cool? You run into Boxer in the supermarket.

I use to live in Bolinas and remember her when she was a supervisor.

But what is really cool is that my wife and I run into Zoe Lofgren in the supermarket!

I guess to run into Repukes like Der Gropenfurher, you have to donate $$$$$$$$$$$. Then you get his "special" phone #

I'd hate to think you'd subject yourself to Melanie Morgan unless being tortured....

Yeah, it is cool to run into Boxer and the even cooler part is that she engages in conversations and actually cares.

9. Gads I hate that woman!

I had the misfortune to hear her show when I was visiting someone who had KSFO tuned in on their radio. In five minutes listening I caught her in at least nine factual lies about Iraq.

I don't know what to tell you to say -- my response upon seeing her would probably be to offer a salute and start singing "Deutschland, Deutschland uber alles" while following her through the parking lot. I'm not one for subtleties. :D

I might try to find a great bumper sticker and make sure it got added to her collection.
