Why do you think Blair is visiting Bush today?
Could it have something to do with the Downing Street Memo? Blair always "visits" us to make Bush look good; I can't imagine he's not here for some strategic reason. What do you think?

have to get the story straight.

I'm willing to bet it gets brought up and dismissed, by 5 this afternoon. With Kerry threatening to come out with it, Conyers putting pressure on, I have no doubt they getting ready to de-bunk the memo.

Or Bush is letting Blair down easy, after all Jeff Gannon is no longer allowed on the premises!

6. Have to pick out the side-by-side cemetery plots together.
They're both political terminal cases at this point. Will the bugler play "God Save the Queen" twice at Arlington National Cemetery? ;) :+ :bounce:

9. Blair is telling Bush...no more.
Blair's party has suffered greatly due to his "lap dog" relationship with GW.

Note that they are not meeting at the "ranch". Blair is meeting in a formal setting and thier private meetings will not be the "chummy" affairs as they were in Crawford, when Bush wooed Blair with his "downhome" good old boy routine.

Blair I feel now feels duty bound to his nation and his party to stand against Bush and inform him that he will no longer stand by him after the Downing street memo has fully implicated Blair in complicity with Bush's Iraq propaganda campaign.

For some reason he thought for sure it was right to stand with the US in principle as longtime allies. Unfortunately now Blair can no longer allow Bush to drag Britian into the mud.

Expect the unexpected...not to emerge in the news but in the actions of Blair in the coming weeks.

Expect Britian to withdraw from Iraq by year end.
