The answer is simple...this site gets a sh!tload of traffic, a huge part of it not even political. Think of these ads as billboards for our party, our cause. Now look at that front page. Any of the tens of thousands of visitors who stumble upon (or deliberately visit) this site, are greeted to "PISS ON LIBERALS" and "SLAPPING THE LEFT INTO SUBMISSION," etc. Will it change the world to vote up a Liberal ad? Hell no. But it's all about marketing a message. The message conveyed to the tens of thousands of TSC visitors right now is the left are losers.

You don't have to waste the precious ten seconds out of your day. But you could. I don't see this as any different than posting a link to a poll on MSNBC or whatever, which goes on here all the time. TSC probably has a bigger audience, even.

I've been a front-page contributor to DU, and a long-time member. What is the point of your post? That we should all start infighting? Hell, I specifically suggested voting for ANYONE liberal, not me. What is the problem with supporting ANY fellow liberal's efforts to change the mess in Washington?
