"Pot" and "smoking weed" etc... he just makes so many clueless remarks like, "so are you a pretty normal dude even after smokin' weed all these years...god.

The drug companies sound like they are doing some Reefer Madness type MJ propaganda and he's all "they say it causes schitzophrenia!"

1. Ed loves the sound of his own voice.

He's clueless about a lot of things. One day recently he gave valuable airtime to Howie Kurtz who he introduced as a "journalist." Howie then used the time to condemn Newsweek for its "fabrication" on the Koran story. Ed just sat there agreeing with the ass.

When Ed doesn't know how to respond to a caller, which is frequently, he thanks them and moves on. He also puts on Daschle and Dorgan and thinks he's got a representative sample of Democratic thought. He's better than nothing, but he's far from ideal and he's a DLCer at heart.

2. An important factoid about "Big Ed"

Ed Schultz was a conservative talk show host for many (?) years before jumping to the other side of the fence.

While it's always good to have people on our side, it bothers me when you have a "Dem Lite" who discounts outrageous stuff going on in Washington. I've actually heard him pooh-pooing callers about really serious issues.

Every time I listen to him, I think of the "Puddy Tat" from Warner Brothers Cartoons. He lisps & sounds exactly like him.
