To Demand Resolution of Inquiry into Downing Street Minutes

Members of Gold Star Families for Peace will be meeting with members of Congress on 15 June, 2005 to demand that each individual member act in accordance with his/her conscience, integrity, courage and duty as employees of America sworn to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and abide by its contents.

GSFP believes that the so-called Downing Street Minutes is the "smoking gun" proof that is a validation of the fact that the invasion/occupation of Iraq is based on deceit and prefabricated intelligence. We believe that lying to Congress and the American people is traitorous and constitutes "high crimes and misdemeanors" and are impeachable offenses. We will be calling on members of the House of Representatives to begin a Resolution of Inquiry into the Minutes as first step to introducing Articles of Impeachment against George Bush, Dick Cheney and everyone in the Cabinet who also lied. It is not only the House's obligation and duty as sworn elected officials to do so, it is also their responsibilities as members of humanity. GSFP members have had valuable, loved and indispensable loved ones murdered for the deceits of this Executive Branch of our government.

GSFP believes that our loved ones have died needlessly, senselessly, and avoidably in the aggression against Iraq. We would like to see someone held accountable for the irresponsible deaths of American forces as well as tens of thousands of innocent Iraqi citizens.

Senator George Voinovich has been moved to tears, and lost alot more than his daughter. He has lost the rights for his very family to live in peace, because the Iraq WAR hangs over everyone's head.

Doesn't matter how corrupt he has run Ohio when the facts are, this entire thing is affecting him. It's affecting John McCain, it is affecting Arlen Spector, it is affecting Mike DeWine and their families too.

They don't want to play ball anymore and the fact is, the only person the Downing Street Minutes and illegal war isn't affecting are......YOU, CHENEY.

You sit there all smug and have Bush deny all the charges thinking it might just creep away. No, it's time the lies be seen for what they are. John Bolton shall never become U.N. Ambassador, what a crock of crap. The power has always been in the people's hands.

Corrupt, and insane morally bankrupt senators like Senator Frist and Santorum, do not dictate this country anymore than a pitbull dictates how the rottwielers fall in line. They should be held for trial, and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

All liars, manipulators, and players in Election Fraud 2004, 9/11 inside job, and Downing Street IRAQ, must be formally held accountable and made to answer for their actions.

I sure hope you're right. I'm no astrologer, but it does feel to me as if the tide is starting to turn. There are just way too many scandals going on for them to keep a lid on it much longer.
