Even PBS Kids....

Anybody notice that those "Ready to Learn" grants from the U.S. Dept. of Ed. that help pay for so many PBS kids shows are now called "Ready to Learn/No Child Left Behind" grants? This really fries me.

Maybe next month they'll be called "Ready to Learn to Support Our Glorious Leader" Grants....

2. I think it was a tradeoff

Bushco gave PBS tons of money in grants and then all of the sudden, they are getting rid of "liberal" programs on PBS.
I will NEVER give PBS another dime.
I hope they rot in hell.

5. The second half-hour of NOW is now "The McLaughlin Group" on

our local PBS. If that's not a move to the right, I don't know what is.

6. McLaughlin Group's been on for years

Bisecting NOW was uncalled for. PBS had to add a show by the RW Wall Street Journal, but not all affiliates have picked it up. That is the only change I know of.

And Sunday is nothing but Christian shows. All fundie style crap.
