something to the effect of 'Saddam wouldn't cooperate with us so we had to use military force' and instead of the reporter asking 'what do you mean he wasn't he cooperating with you - turns out there were no WMD' the reporter just accepted his phoney answer and didn't ask any follow ups. It boggles the mind.
