Coming soon...Watergate II
Pay close attention to what's happening now and what happens in the next few months. I believe things are going to get interesting very fast. Pay attention and tell me if I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing. I have this feeling that something big is coming. I don't know exactly what, but it's definitely on its way.

1. DSM! DSM! DSM! DSM! DSM! DSM! DSM! DSM!

(pssst...now that I've got them working on that, let's go and take a look at what's happening right now in Ohio. I'm thinkin' that's going to be bigger than we think.)

9. Certainly not the voters who were disenfranchised in 2004....
And dismissed as "frivilous" dissidents with an axe to grind! :eyes: :eyes:

2. I hope it's true.
There are people in government who are as disgusted with this administration as we are. They are professionals. But whistleblowers are not welcomed by the Justice Department. They weren't by the Nixon admin, either. That's why Deep Throat went to reporters. I hope their is still a journalist, an editor, and an owner in the press willing to make that voice heard.

6. There are journos and editors to be sure...
But there is little in the way of a delivery mechanism and that is the problem. In any case, read my post below on impeachment... Bush/Cheney/Delay... I mean how far down the line do we need to go until we reach a reasonable human?

And remember--Watergate started with just a little case of B&E.

4. I think you are talking
About impeachment? It won't happen, because as much as people despise chimp, they hate Cheney even more. And if you impeach both, the next in line is Tom Delay.

7. Not so fast!
Spiro went down before Tricky Dick. If this is orchestrated properly check out THIS succession...

Cheney and Bush are removed just AFTER the 2006 election, when the Dems have regained control of the Congress. The new speaker of the house would be a dem...the third in line to the Oval Office.

A longshot? You betcha. But stranger things have happened...look how Bush got in there in the first place!

10. Wrong.
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 12:24 AM by Stand and Fight
The next in line is the Speaker of the House, NOT the House Majority Leader, Tom DeLay. That means Dennis Hastert is next in line. The order of succession is as follows:

* The Vice President Richard Cheney
* Speaker of the House John Dennis Hastert
* President pro tempore of the Senate1 Ted Stevens (1)
* Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice
* Secretary of the Treasury John Snow
* Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld
* Attorney General Alberto Gonzales
* Secretary of the Interior Gale A. Norton
* Secretary of Agriculture Mike Johanns
* Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez (2)
* Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao (3)
* Secretary of Health and Human Services Mike Leavitt
* Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Alphonso Jackson
* Secretary of Transportation Norman Yoshio Mineta
* Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman
* Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings
* Secretary of Veterans Affairs Jim Nicholson
* Secretary of Homeland Security (4) Michael Chertoff

NOTE: An official cannot succeed to the Presidency unless that person meets the Constitutional requirements.
1. The president pro tempore presides over the Senate when the vice president is absent. By tradition the position is held by the senior member of the majority party.
2. Carlos Gutierrez was born in Cuba and is ineligible.
3. Elaine Chao was born in Taiwan and is ineligible.
4. May move to number 8 on the list pending legislation.

14. I think if we impeach Bush
we have to get the whole administration. They've all done criminal acts. And then DeLay has to go as well. If we are the majority again (a BIG if) in 2006 then if Pelosi is still there she is the leader and third from the top and will choose the president and vice president. We can also show how the republicans stole both 2000 and 2004 and how Kerry won 2004.

5. That "something big" I'm afraid...
is more fake terra. But real fake. Not like the bogus color alerts. These madmen are arrogant enough to try to hurt people again, in an attempt to play the "security" card.

I actuall heard Bay Buchannan and/or Paul Begala talking about this very notion today...that things are so bad for Bush, the only thing he has left is the "keeping us safe from terra" angle. So, he'll likely try something insane, just to protect us from it.

Be hopeful, but be vigilante. Be afraid.

15. I hope that doesn't happen
I've been wondering if they'd pull it off. :\ They want Bolton in at the UN and the Bilderberg group has been arguing back and forth about Iran. A lot of them don't want it so Bush won't get it for a while. I think if something does happen it'll happen in late summer or early fall just a couple months before the 2006 midterms. That way the republicans running can run on "protecting" us. My question is: will Bush pull it off? Will his "bosses" let him?

16. An attack would blow it for them
Remember "We're fighting the terrorists in Iraq so they won't come here." They'd be in deep shit for spending billions on "Homeland Security" then failing to keep us safe. "Security" is the only platform they have any more as far as public opinion is concerned.

13. I'm sensing it too - the Perfect Storm
It's funny that you mentioned Watergate II since I've been writing to jornalists covering the DSM story, handing them a juicy tid-bit to take the story to the next level, then taunting them with this: "There is a story here if you're willing to dig a little deeper and look behind the scenes. A modern-day Woodward & Bernstein could have field day!" Maybe playing to their purient interest in fame and fortune will motivate them.

I also sense that other scandals beyond the DSM that have been percolating in the background will expklode to the surface within the same general time frame. Too many simultaneous fires for Rove to handle at once.....and he only needs to drop the ball once and it's Game Over because the Domino Effect will be a bitch!

17. The World Tribunal on Iraq! Verdict coming on the 27th ... It will be BIG
It will be THE record of what REALLY happened in Iraq. We will have more proof of war crimes, the New World Order, and the complicity of the media than we'll know what to do with.

In my heart of hearts, I know this will change things drastically for the Neocons by the end of this month.

Check it out and add your name to the endorsers (and if you really want to help out, add the flash to your sig line cause hardly any DUers know about it!)

26. Bush and Blair have been "invited" to the final Tribunal ...
Worldwide Tribunal To Meet In Istanbul Over U.S. War Crimes In Iraq by

Greg Szymanski

May 26, 2005 - As President Bush "jet-sets" around the world, there is one overseas meeting in June he will avoid like the plague.

Bush and England’s Prime Minister Tony Blair this week received personal invitations to attend a session of the World Tribunal on Iraq (WTI) in Istanbul from June 23-27. A White House spokesman said he was unaware of the meeting or any such group. ...

Besides the Iraqi invasion, the WTI is also investigating the growing clamor of what has been called America’s effort to create a "new world order" to dominate the world under a single leadership.

"The WTI initiative seeks to be part of a broader movement to stop the establishment of the new imperial world order as a permanent 'state of exception' with constant wars as one of its main tools," added Kuey. "We hope to bring a moral, political and judicial judgment that contributes to build a world of peace and justice."

23. People can only overlook so much corruption...
without admitting it is true. All his polls are sinking and they scare the hell out of me. IMO, they are also beginning to scare their own party. The fundies are not the majority of the Repub party, they are the minority. People are beginning to wake up, thus my fear of what they will do to hold onto power. Real fear or fake fear, who knows anymore but it's taking its toll. People are getting sick of being scared by the media everyday. People are ready for hope and ready for change, IMHO.

28. When I said something big, I was thinking...
...something big is going to happen to the Bush Administration. Something much bigger than Watergate.

I have a feeling that the shit is getting ready to hit the fan.

BTW, I like the fact that Ralph Nader is in public calling for impeachment. It should help get an interest going. I know it's hard for some to take Ralph seriously anymore, but he's a decent man and has great ideas. He was wrong about running for President though. Everybody believes he just helped elect Bush both times. I really don't think that was the case, but it all depends on how you look at it.
