Prepare to Scream
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 08:24 AM by ck4829
Where was the outrage when RW'ers said there was no such thing as a moderate Muslim, when they called Clinton a murderer, when they said that every terrorist wanted Kerry to win (BTW, North said that, and he sure knows about helping terrorists), that Jesus prefers Bush to Kerry, and more, where was the outrage?

http://dailykos.com/story/2005/6/8/203325/5558

What Dean has said about the GOP is TAME when it is compared to what RW'ers say about us and other people too.

3. Screaming loudly for years
The hypocrisy enrages me. When a liberal states the obvious we get slammed. When the right wingers make stuff up, the media repeats it as fact.

5. That's because the RW says so much crazytalk their tamer stuff seems real.
If you do nothing but lie, 24/7, eventually your casual or subtle lies will seem like the truth, because the absurd lies have been filtered out. What's scary is that this works.

7. How about when.....
Bush called someone a "Major league A--hole"
Or, when Dick Cheney told someone to go "F--- yourself"?

8. You Want Hypocrisy? Here's Some Hypocrisy!
"Well, Republicans, I guess, can do that, because a lot of them have never made an honest living in their lives. But for ordinary working people, who have to work eight hours a day, they have kids, they got to get home to those kids, the idea of making them stand for eight hours to cast their ballot for democracy is wrong."
Howard Dean at a political speech, June 2
Discussing an Election Day Holiday

REACTION: Fits thrown. Tantrums ensuing. Republicans and Democrats alike. Much outrage and gnashing of teeth.

"Oh, yeah, Election Day a holiday. And well, you know -- I don't know why they need to do that. Most of their voters don't work anyway, so I don't know how that's going to help them that much. At least in a percentage basis."
Rush Limbaugh on his radio program, June 2
Discussing an Election Day Holiday

REACTION: Crickets chirping.

11. Did the chairman of the RNC say any of these things?
Dean supposedly speaks for the party, none of the people cited in the article officially speak for the Republican party.

The RNC chariman and previous DNC chairmen have been smart enough to let others do thier dirty work.

12. To the masses, Rush Limbaugh is the voice of the Repub party.
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 09:37 AM by Straight Shooter
He is their teacher, their taskmaster, their idol and their mama and papa all rolled into one.

He speaks to our troops on a daily basis. That is as close to being the voice of the Repub party as you can get.

I agree with your factual assertion, but almost everyone has now heard of Howard Dean and Rush Limbaugh. A lot of people haven't a clue who Gillespie or Mehlman are. The Repub party lets its unofficial officials run the propaganda show.

edit: I don't think Dean is doing "dirty work." I think he's doing cleanup work.

15. Perhaps we need our own Rush Limbaugh
The fact that few know who Gillespie and Mehlman are an indication that they did their job the way it was supposed to be done. They raised a lot of money quitely without drawing undue attention to themselves. Bush never had to say "I don't agree with what the Chariman said." These people had the disipline to stay on message.

16. Perhaps Dean should recruit some people to do that
So that he can do his job and not force Democrats in Congress to answer questions about his latest outburst.

which ones to recruit.

Some people shrivel under presure, some people get nervous, some people angry and some people just get even........sooner or later

GO DEAN :woohoo:
