Why Don't Repukes Disown LIMBO Like "Dems" Do DEAN?
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 10:17 AM by UTUSN
The question arises because of weasel Harold FORD telling Don ANUS this morning that DEAN doesn't speak for HIM, that FORD is "a man of faith" (what does THAT have to do with anything?), and other such slobberings. Add him to the list.

As others have posted here, anything and everything DEAN has said about wingnuts is NOWHERE as vile as what LIMBOsevic and his army of copycats spew DAILY and have been doing for the past fifteen years.

And yesterday on The View, Rosie O'DONNELL called HANNITY "a rabid Reppublican." He replied, "Can anybody just be a Republican without 'rabid' being attached to it? (to VIEREIRA/sp: ) Do YOU consider me a 'rabid' Republican?"

Meredith almost weaseled out, but after a long pause, she said, "Yes."

But back to the DEMS running away from DEAN deal. He was not my choice in the primaries. I opted from the start for who I thought was going to be the toughest fighter--yip, JK. Sigh. So suddenly P.C.-ism is O.K., at least when truths about wingnuts are concerned.

1. Check This Out To See The Difference Between Dems and Repubs
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 10:21 AM by GiovanniC

"Well, Republicans, I guess, can do that, because a lot of them have never made an honest living in their lives. But for ordinary working people, who have to work eight hours a day, they have kids, they got to get home to those kids, the idea of making them stand for eight hours to cast their ballot for democracy is wrong."
Howard Dean at a political speech, June 2
Discussing an Election Day Holiday

REACTION: Fits thrown. Tantrums ensuing. Republicans and Democrats alike. Much outrage and gnashing of teeth.

"Oh, yeah, Election Day a holiday. And well, you know -- I don't know why they need to do that. Most of their voters don't work anyway, so I don't know how that's going to help them that much. At least in a percentage basis."
Rush Limbaugh on his radio program, June 2
Discussing an Election Day Holiday

REACTION: Crickets chirping.

5. Good point
but altho Rush doesn't hold elected office, the Republicans sure make sure he is up front for them.

That asswipe was even invited to some networks for election eve analysis.

But then again -- Dean doesn't hold elected public office either.

So I guess wer'e even, huh?

Limbaugh: "Got a big hug from the president" at the White House

And there's -- there are a lot of people. I walked in with Roger Ailes. We arrived at the -- at the same time, and -- and Ailes looked at me and said, "Hey, Rush. Let's walk in together. They'll think it's a giant conspiracy." And I said, "I'm on. I'm up for it." So we did. It was just a -- just a great time. Saw a lots -- a lot -- a lot of people I haven't seen in a while, and met some people I haven't met before. It was just a tremendous night.

11. Head of Gasbaggery
The point is that Repukes constantly cozy up to him, and none of them go out of their way to distance themselves from his hate rhetoric, no matter how incendiary.
