I don't know who said that, but it sure as hell makes a lot of sense today doesn't it.
Maybe Dean and the Dems are simply playing a game right out of the RNC playbook.
Looks to me like it could be a good game of "Good Cop, Bad Cop". How many times over the past 20 years have we heard a Repuke like Limpballs, or Norquist say something totally outrageous, only later to have some prominent repuke come along and say; "well, ole Grover, he sometimes goes a little too far"....?
We don't need to be doing this now Dems!!!! Take a look at the state of Virginia. There is "serious" Republican in-fighting going on down here. This state is ripe for the taking, but we need to stay disciplined.
On one point, Ronald Reagan was right. There "is" an 11TH Commandment. "Thou shall not criticize fellow Democrats".
At least we can get this out of the way now and not in the middle of the 06 campaign. Dems need to STFU. Let Dean be Dean and do what he does best. Energize the base, raise money, and feed red-meat to the grass-roots folks.
We need someone with his passion
