Did George Bush lie to get us into war? Are people dying each day because of those lies? There are more terrorist acts today by far than before Bush invaded Iraq. More people hate us now than before. Does that make us safer? Let's explore the truth. It is the moral and ethical way to go. It is more important than whether or not George Bush is impeached, for that matter.

13. Actually, the House Probably Wouldn't Impeach Bush
Even if he ass-raped their collective grandmothers on the Capital floor.

And even if they DID vote to impeach, what are the odds that some of OUR OWN senators... like Lieberman or Nelson... would vote to remove Chimpy, much less the Party-Line-at-All-Costs Republicans?

Sorry Kentuck, but many of us ARE after impeachment. And if the truth prevails, as you wish, you'll be after impeachment too.

6. The closer you look the more it appears to be treason.
That would entail impeachment (based on facts at hand, motives verified) followed by prosecution.

There seem to be daily developments. People are starting to demand answers.

14. Exactly. We don't get Cheney. He goes down with the ship.
If the ship goes down and the pugs still have a majority in the house it matters little, because they will lose that majority in the following election.

10. the truth first.
then justice.

if the truth came out there would be trials. and if there were trials there would be convictions. and unless someone pardoned these monsters they would not only be impeached but in prison for the rest of their lives and their fortunes impounded to help rebuild what they have broken.

they are some of the most craven and despicable criminals this country has ever seen. will they ever have to answer for it?

11. We know the truth. We already have the truth.
We can't pursue that which we already possess.

It's time to impeach Bush, Cheney, Rice, Rumsfeld and Gonzales for high crimes and misdemeanors, with the bill of particulars stemming from war crimes arising out of the invasion of Iraq and crimes against humanity arising out of the use of torture and other cruel and humiliating treatment of prisoners of war at a network of detention facilities (rightly characterized as gulags) illegally maintained beyond the presumed reach of any law.

15. WE (DU) know the truth
Edited on Thu Jun-09-05 12:54 PM by goclark

The majority of people that I talk tol, all Democrats, don't have a realpicture of the Downing Street Minutes.

Some really think that Bush won the election fair and square.

12. Even if Bush is impeached, it doesn't necessarily mean that
he will be removed from office.

impeach -- Often confused and sometimes misused. To impeach means "to charge a public official with misconduct in office." It does not mean "to remove an official from office." When an official is impeached, he or she is formally accused of misconduct. The official must then go through a legal (and probably political) process that may lead to removal from office if found guilty of misconduct. Impeach also means "to challenge a person's motives or discredit a reputation."
