Why Doesn't the Press Ask Ken Mehlman A Simple Question
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 07:39 PM by ruggerson
Ken, as a gay man, why on earth do you run a party that is actively seeking to destroy your very own civil rights?

Can you explain that to the American voter?

(If they can obsess on Howard Dean, can't ONE courageous reporter ask this question in front of the television cameras?)

2. I did enjoy Tim Russert
asking him if being gay was from birth or not.
He stammered and couldn't answer!
And then spun it like a top!

16. Orson Wells did a movie back in the 50's.
I don't think its a very popular name, kinda like "Bin Laden".

Not just Edison and Westinghouse.... that's why Uncle Sam don't want anyone to ask questions....

I don't know if anyone will understand much until they fiqure out the math..... 3rd power!!!!

4. Mehlman has been well-trained, or he's just good.
He stayed calm and on message the whole time I was watching. Too bad for his party that everything he said was bullshit.

10. InsHannity had....
a caller today who said Mehlman was a closet gay. Hannity went nuts... said it was a terrible slur and a lie and Mehlman is married and just ranted. Hung up on the guy. Then he calmed down and said that whatever people do in private is nobody's business. I wonder if his producer or screener or zookeeper or whatever told him to chill out on defending Mehlman as a straight.

Am I a terrible person if I hate closeted gay-hating gays in the public arena?

11. This is exactly the Repub modus operandi
They lash out with venom and anger at anything and everybody who dares point out their hypocrisy.

What drives everything about their agenda is anger. They are truly the Dysfunctional Party.

14. Actually, Mehlman IS married--
Edited on Fri Jun-10-05 09:46 PM by tblue37
He married his gay lover last year in Massachusetts.

No--wait. On second thought, that was probably another highly placed, anti-gay Republican activist who married his gay lover in Massachusetts. It's hard to keep track. There are so many gay Republicans working to deny rights to all gays.

15. That was not Mehlman. It was a GOP honcho named Arthur Finkelstein.

12. I don't think he is married, that would be news to me
I work with someone who went to college with him. I asked this person whether they thought Ken was gay. They didn't know.
