A republicans responce to all that crap that happened this morning
"Keep in mind, Millie, the panel was one sided and the Repub. asked why reps from supporters and framers of the Patriot Act were not represented? That gives the full cycle of the one-sided event."

3. In brief ...
Sensenbrenner wasn't getting the testimony that he wanted to hear.

6. Kinda overlooked the fact that there had already been 10 other
hearings where NOT ONE DEMOCRAT could schedule one witness against the Patriotic Act. The Democrats had to use Rule 11 to even get the hearing this morning with their witnesses.

Sensenbenner then scheduled it for 8:30 am on a Friday (most of the House were already headed out of town for the weekend) with very little notice for the witnesses. They all had to hurry to get into town for today's hearing and then only four of the schedule witnesses were allowed to speak before he breaks House rules and closes down the hearing.

Guess they forget to mention any of that.

2. Has the freeper lost his little mind?
There was bi-partisan testimony from BOTH sides, about the abuses, pros and cons of the desecration.

Oh so this was all the reason to shut the entire hearings down, and demand no more hearings are allowed? :eyes: :eyes:

Go back to your rock house....

4. LOL! I suppose this idiot has no idea that this 11th hearing was...
called because the previous ten were so heavily weighted towards supporters the room fell over to the right.

7. No, no -- the other 10 were GOP hearings.
They wanted this one to be the balanced one.

That's just the rules of the game under the Bushistas.
