32. Yay!
I love Letterman. I think he's more democratic leaning. I remember during the last election cycle he had John Kerry and Green Day on the same night. That kicked ass. I hope dembloggers has a video of this.

45. He said (spoilers, of course- don't read if you're going to watch it)
that the idea of private accounts keeps getting more and more unpopular, and that it doesn't resolve the issue of solvency. That was the meat of the factual part. But then he followed it up with some really funny stuff. He mentioned this $11.1 trillion shortfall the Republicans keep talking about, but noted that the figure was arrived at by actuaries who were calculating for an INFINITE number of years (basically, it's a mathematical limit they came to- totally useless as a statistic). Then he said that that sounds really bad, but if you spread it out over the next 11.1 trillion years, it's only a dollar per year! Big whoop!

He said a lot of other really hilarious stuff, too. He was just great. I haven't seen anything like that in awhile. You gotta see it if you can.

Just as long as she does not change from the way she is on the radio, and she's allowed to get her points out, I think she will be fine.

Rhandi has said she doesn't like going on TV though. :( I'd like to see Jeanane on more shows. I've seen her on Scarborough's and she kicks some ass. Just forgets being polite and jumps in as you should. :D I think Sam was with her but I'm not for sure. I know a creator of AAR was.

Al mentioned this appearance on his radio show earlier this week, so I was really anxious to see it. He said it came off well and I agree. He is so cute with those innocent dimples in his cheeks...and then he BLASTS them!

Also about BOs boat cruise being cancelled because he has no talent. Big applause and huge laughter from the audience.
