bush budget cuts will up hmlessness by 2 million, SF chronicle said in a post here at DU.

the 1OO OOO number is only based on past year's population of 3 million involved with hmlessness. When the cuts up that by 2 million, expect the 1OO OOO number to increase proportionately.

the hmless die at three times the normal rate, which is what one would expect when shelter is removed from humans. The ancients called it "death by exposure to the elements".

It's all coming to a head soon. Bush will drop another 7-8 points in the polls and settle at about 35% approval. Why do I say this? Because his current approval-disapproval rating for job performance equals that for his personal approval rating. In other words, the people who "thought he was a good guy" are changing their minds. Without that, what does he have, nothing, that's what.

Conyers is a great, great American, a true patriot. He is also the one man who led a congressional delegates and Ohio figures in hearings on the crooked election in Ohio and the theft of that state by Bush and Company. How about them apples?

The link is exhibiting peculiar behavior.

I signed the petition, and went back to the page to see how much progress had been made. The total was a couple dozen higher than when I signed on. "Yay!" I thought. I refreshed and the thenumber climbed by a few more. "Whoa, that's a lot of folks signing at 3:00AM Eastern on a Friday night..." I clicked refresh again, and the number DROPPED BACK to where it was the first time I signed on!

Try it yourself and see if I am high. Repaetedly click refresh and watch what happens to the numbers. I get the feeling that someone is scamming us and the number cannot be trusted.

It make me a little queasy, and I hope I am wrong. But I think MOVEON is playing fast and loose with the numbers.

As I said, see for yourself. This will so make us look bad if there is no reasonable explanation, but the truth needs to be told.

regarding the erratic numbers on MoveOn...they probably have more than one (probably three or four) servers running. When you hit refresh, you might actually be linking into a different server than before which hasn't received the latest update.
