This was recorded in September, 1988...right after he began the "EIB".

On that program, the interviewer asked Rush straight out, "Do you think it's the place for a radio talk show host to advocate a political position, or should radio remain the public town hall where all opinions are heard?" Rushbo answers "I would never use my program to further a political agenda or be used by other..." He honestly said that. And I should know, the interviewer was me!
