They have taken over and they are playing for keeps. This regime is so scary and they are much more controlling than any other admin has ever been. They are drunk with power and they drink from an unending fountain of fraudulent control.

I have spoken to my husband about * and how I do not think he plans to let go of office. After seeing all of the Bush '08 buttons I actually ran an idea by my husband and he checked on the legality of it. It will take some stretching but * can actually steal the office for another term. I wanted to come here and discuss my idea but I dare not let the other side get any ideas of how this can transpire. They are all a bunch of crooks and we really need to watch out for them.

All exercizes are purely for PR purposes to keep the faithful faithful and maybe create some media flap. While people here are sharp to jump on how premeditated Sensenbrenner's actions were, the same could be said for Conyers and the Judicial Committee Democrats. So be it. That's how the game is played. The end game is how the public views it. Will people see Sensenbrenner as yet another Repugnican drunk with power and part of a Congress that's on self-destruct? If that view sets in, Democrats have hopes for 2006.

As members of Congress, the Judicial Committee Democrats can hold all the minority hearings they want. I doubt a single Repugnican will be anywhere near them, and unless C-SPAN covers them there won't be a word peeped anywhere. Signatures on an online petition is a feel-good thing, but it's getting in the face of Congressmen...especially red ones...demanding accountability for his invasion that is the only way to put a check on the abuses. Then working to elect Democrats is the way to start turning the corner.
