7. Alot of Police stay in shape. I spend 1-2 hours a day a the gym.

I do not use steroids nor does anyone I know use steroids. Being in shape is a safety issue not to mention just a good idea in general. Police work is a very physical job. Being in shape can save your life.

Hmmm, I do not remember everyone on Cops being in shape. They seemed fairly average.

May 24, 2005 — Amid the furor over steroid use by superstar athletes like baseball's Jose Canseco and Jason Giambi, another story is quietly unfolding in small towns and big cities across America — cops on steroids.

From New York City to Norman, Okla., police departments are investigating a growing number of incidents involving uniformed police officers who are using steroids to build beefy, muscular physiques.

Police departments are concerned because it is illegal in the United States to possess steroids without a prescription. They are listed by the Drug Enforcement Agency as a Schedule III substance, like morphine, opium, barbiturates and other prescription drugs.

But there is an even greater problem: violent, aggressive behavior, a common side effect of steroids, can contribute to police brutality — even murder.

Took me a while to figure out what all the little vials were and connect them to the mood swings.

Good for you not partaking, but 'everyone you know' just isn't telling you. It happens a lot more than you would believe.

11. Steroids are not the problem in the mood swings I have seen. Androstene,

a legal substance, seems to be the biggest offender. That junk just makes you aggressive and hostile.

If you spend time in a gym you can tell who is on steroids. I am sure there are problems at some departments but it is not that widespread. Other supplements like Androstene are a bigger problem but legal.

9. Steroids should be legal

With a doctor's prescription and oversight, anyone who is healthy should be able to use steroids, in my opinion. When people don't know what they're doing - that's when they get into trouble using steroids.
