A Suggestion to the House Chaplain…

The following is a suggestion for a new Republican prayer to be offered by the DeLay House Chaplain….

“Dear Lord we do humble come to thee this morning seeking wisdom and direction asking that you guide this House in enlightenment. Lord, give us your blessing so that we do not undersell our votes. Deliver us the knowledge of the market place value of our office. Lord sustain us so that we may continue to lift the burden from the oppressed upper class…let us work to make their lives more comfortable by eliminating all responsibility from their shoulders, let us bask in the glory of your blessing in expanding bank accounts for that effort. Lord, give us the correct words that we may continue in enlighten the masses in those things which engender votes for things which we shall not do. In thy name we say Amen and Amen……

P.S. If you want to do a couple little things for the rest of the country that’s okay…..as long as its in the spirit of the Free Market.”
