Did anyone see Rod Nordland from Newsweek on Wash.Jour.?
The last call prompted him to discuss the incompetance of the CPA and those that worked for it. He mentioned the fresh out of college kids in charge of nation building. I remember a story that discussed young rethug types being hired for positions WAY out of their abilities, and I remember how little attention this received. Now that more people are seeing the disaster for what it is, should we work to give this story a new life?

1. The only place I've heard about this is from Al Franken. He has mentioned
this repeatedly - and he is the only one as far a I know.

He bangs on this along with the missing 8.8 billion when he rails against how BushCo has caused our troops in Iraq to get killed by their incompetence - in multiple ways.

3. No, there was a story online...
in the Fall, following the war. Maybe it was lightupthedarkeness.com or one of the many other online news groups, that are reporting real news, as opposed to the msm. I cannot find it in my bookmarks, and I know I did bookmark it. Of course, it could be on my currently dead computer, but I cannot check it. Oh and yes, I do need 2 computers, just to keep track of all the crimes of the BFEE, hell, I need Deep Blue II.

2. Is this the guy who mentioned another 'terrorist' who
was involved in 9/11? What was that about? And why and how, all of a sudden, did they find someone else to blame it on? I missed the majority of his air time, but was thinking :wtf:

5. Yes, heard the interview

amazingly, I had never heard about the incompetent, inexperienced young people running the Iraq show under CPA. Why didn't Newsweek tell us this at the time? I thought Nordland was pretty good, and at times very good, but I wish this stuff had been played up at the time.

6. Campaign payoff's to WH intern's, Heritage Foundation
members children who recently graduated.

Inexperienced kids sent to Iraq to manage and disperse US taxpayers funds to US contractor's, Iraqi's, and ??????
The obvious result is the loss of $8.8 Billion US Dollars. These kids had little if any experience earning or handling their own personal monies yet they were given billions to play with.....kinda like playing monopoly, only it isn't a game, and people such as our troops, and US citizens go without ie., equipment for the troops, military/veteran benefits, education and health, etc., are slashed by the Bush administration.

The is old news and should be a major scandal for this administration yet the media-whores and our elected representated whose funtion is to be the oversight on such matters, choose to ignore this $8.8 Billion Dollar loss.

Bush is flying AF-I non-stop to promote the need to privatize Social Security. His tour, involves speaking only to his choir on the failures of this program, yet he accepts the loss of billions of dollars through his own administrations arrogant abuse of power.

The Bush administration has been able to supply our Nation with weekly scandal's that has seriously diminished our historic role as a world leader for democracy, yet the majority of American citizens are ignorant of these scandals/abuses, because our "liberal media," have also failed us.

7. Does anyone have the link to the online story from 2003?
It was a pretty damning story, and like I said, it received minimal attention.
