What do people think about Clark's naming....
the seven countries the Administration wanted to go after?

It seems very bold. It also seems very anti-PNAC, though
this was not explicitly stated.

I am not here to gloat, I really would like to know if that
convinces some skeptics that he is actually on "the side of
good" when it comes to foreign policy.

BTW, I watched the a replay of the last debate and I have
to say I am impressed with everyone. The strength in Kucinich's
voice and the clarity in Kerry's words were especially impressive.
Edwards is very smooth and Dean is quite powerful as well.

Anyway, I am off to a Clark steering committee meeting but I
wanted you to know that I like all the Dem Candidates, except
Lieberman is too complicitous with the Right for me.

I hope you will give Clark some slack on some of his gaffes,
we all make mistakes. He's a good guy though, trust me.

1. Personally I think the list
would not come as a surprise to any informed person.

2. The one thing I LOVE about Clark's take on the war on terror
I'm not sure if anyone else has been doing this much. But he makes a point of spelling out the terrorists as individual groups and terrorists as nations. Al-Queda is not a nation. It's a thoughtline. And you don't kill that thoughtline by invading nations, which aren't even behind the basic logic.

3. For what it's worth
I'm glad to read you are off to a steering committee meeting. It's that kind of action that will beat Bush.

4. It was a smart move...

My doubts about clark come from his lack of experience in civilian leadership... but when it comes to tactics and foreign policy, he's got the goods.

I would really like to see him as Dean's VP.
