Everything Dean has said, shocking as it may be, is the truth. The man has intestinal fortitude, and that is sorely needed (I just watched mealy-mouthed Gebhart on CNN last night). It was pounced on by both pukes and dems as "going too far Howard.". But now we realize what a brilliant concept that was: He wanted to draw attention to the fact that the entire south believes God is a republican. Al Gore would have been president if he had just carried his own state of Tennessee (The mountain folk all believed Al & Tipper were going to take away their rifles). And the southern Baptists (a big BIG portion of southerners) convinced the south that a president Kerry was going to allow gays to kiss and fornicate in the streets of America. He forsaw that the Democratic Party needed to address these issues. But all he got was flack. The only TV personality I saw embracing Howard on this was Paul Begala on Crossfire.

Their lead-up to the story in the newscast was much more tame than their teaser an hour before. All she said was "Howard Dean speaks out again." or something like that and they had NO snide commentary after the report...go figure.
