Bush is going to keep pushing his Social Security Privitization...
...program until he gets his way. That is what Fascist Chilean Dictator Pinochet did in his country and ruined the entire pension program for the working class in Chile.

1. But the good news is the house and a lot of the senate is up
for re-election in 2006 and they want to get re-elected. And as * poll numbers go down on things like SSA the less support he has..

5. But after that?
If we can't get the house and Senate cleaned up in 06, then what? They will run roughshod over the Constitution and any social programs until the United States as previously defined no longer exists.

Let this be a warning that we must, absolutely must stop the repukes in Congress in 2006!
To do that we must start working on it yesterday, the time is burning.

2. Let him keep pushing.
He won't get it and it makes him look like an even bigger jackass.

4. This is a way to keep him out of the way while the
VP Cheney runs the country. Cheney just came out and said that Gitmo would continue. When the small plane flew over DC and they did not even inform Shrub, I think it sent a signal to all of us that he really is their puppet.

3. If he's talking SS, then he doesn't have to talk about anything else.
I'm starting to think that he's doing it to avoid all the other problems. He has no solutions for them either.

6. Watch the House Leader--Thomas
He is developing a very comprehensive Reform in which he takes
on everything asociated with Retirement. Pensions, medicare,
medicaid yes everything including Social Security. He has been
working under the radar so to speak. By slipping SS in his
overall reform plan--can Bush pull a rabbit of the hat.

Could this be why Bush seems so confident that he can win on SS
and why he bulldozes ahead on this issue.

Keep your eyes on Congressman Thomas--very sharp operator.

9. Yep, Thomas is a real rat bastard.
His crybaby fit when he was caught lying about calling the capitol police on the dems remains a personal political highlight for me. :)

7. a rich man who oppresses the poor is like adevastating rain that leaves no
food.

social security, is not a charity, it is a social INSURANCE program, bought and paid for by the very people it is insuring.

CACA BUSH and his right nut-wing GOP and CHRISTIAN RIGHT ... need to go to PROVERBS, Chapter 28:3 -- it reads:

A rich man who oppresses the poor

is like a devastating rain that leaves no food.

So, why in blazes are they making a big deal about FEMA MONEY to help victims of hurricane, or whatever kind of money to help victims of the tsunami ... or whatever kind of money they want to drape their false, and hypocritical compassion in, when they are assaulting one of the most decent and honest ways for men and women to preserve some of their integrity in old age: SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS.

What a bunch of HOLY FARTS!
