DU This Poll!
From CNN.com:

"Would you change religions to date Tom Cruise?"

A large news organization uses its considerable resources and its access to the most efficient way to disseminate information ever invented for this?

:wtf:

2. Sad, really sad isn't it?
They could put up a poll asking if we thought ** lied to take us into Iraq.

11. I guess we all already know the answer to that one.
Talk of war would just bring me down. Tom and Katie just make me happy. I like happy.

Do the good people of CNN really believe that most Americans think like that?

5. No, I wouldn't date him...
no matter what his religion was. Anyone who'd divorce Nicole Kidman CAN'T be all there!

8. Yes absolutely
My entire belief system would be altered by the mere fact that I had dinner with a celebrity.

Do I get a cookie?

10. If you are really lucky, he might jump on a couch for you
Now, isn't that worth changing your entire belief system for?

12. my letter to CNN
We are a country at war, with an army that isn't meeting its recruiting goals. We have a series of documents showing that the president may have lied to the public about the pretext for that war. The administration has stolen from the social security funds to pay for a war that the public doesn't support, and a tax cut for the rich. 40+ million people don't have health insurance.

Photos of cars following Michael Jackson to court? Katie Holmes is interested in a new religion? A teenager is selling ties? Does the general public want to be with Tom Cruise so much that their belief in God would change as a result of a date with him?

I am embarrassed for you.

14. Good letter
I always thought the point of a twenty-four-hour news channel was to cover actual news. Silly me!

15. Great letter!
I especially like "I am embarrassed for you". Short and to the point.

A similar email will soon reach CNN.

16. Yes I would change religions so they wouldn't include hatred of people not
in their religions, even if I was punished by being forced to date Tom Cruise for doing so.
