4. Uh, he's the one who ASKED for an autopsy
He wanted the facts to shut up her family, Randal Terry, and all the other lunatic hangers on who wanted her death prolonged indefinitely.

11. Actually, one was required by law in this case
He really didn't have a choice in the matter.

12. Why would it be required by law? . . .
I thought autopsies were not required in cases where the decedent died under a doctor's care.

14. Because she was to be cremated
Florida law states that anyone to be cremated will undergo an autopsy.

13. I don't think so
She was in hospice and the death was expected. They only do autopsies if a death occurs within the first 24 hours of a hospitalization or as a result of a surgery or if foul play is suspected.

Her husband had to request the autopsy, and he did, before the end came.

9. Did you miss the whole fiasco here?

There were plenty of DUers, not trolls and freepers, who were completely drawn into all the Schindler family lies about Terri Schiavo. It's nothing new.

edit: typo

7. I think since the Parents could not use it to make a $$$ they disappeared
and the husband never wanted any of the spotlight, so he is on with his new life. after finally carrying out his wifes wish to die in what peace the GOP bile left her.

17. The Schindlers haven't disappeared
They no longer have to work for a living and are supported by the Religious Right. They're on the circuit (or circus) now, probably doing tent shows, too:

Right to Life Convention draws Schiavo siblings

The 2005 National Right to Life Convention will be held in Bloomington next week, bringing an estimated 1,000 leading abortion opponents to the Twin Cities for three days starting Thursday.

The event, billed as the "largest pro-life gathering in the nation" is being hosted by Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL).

Bobby Schindler and Suzanne Vitadamo, siblings of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, will speak at a special memorial service for their sister. Brother Paul O'Donnell of St. Paul, who spent months ministering to the Schindler family, is also a scheduled speaker.

10. since it's been over 2mos. since the autopsy...
i'm sure they know enough to say something, but i'm guessing there isn't anything that they can be spun to benefit the politcal agenda of the Bushes/Republicans so there is nothing coming out...if they could say she wasn't as bad off as her huband and the doctors said, all kinds of leaking of info would be taking place...
