isn't enough. The prosecution had to prove all elements of each offense beyond a reasonable doubt, and apparently they didn't. They had to prove that that particular kid was molested, not that MJ is a creep. Not only will I enjoy the most heinous Ms. Grace's discomfiture, I am also satisfied that the jury did its job by properly evaluating the reasonable doubt standard. Let's not go down the slippery slope leading to Guantanamo -- we can't convict somebody just because we *think* they're a criminal or a pervert.

because it was pretty obvious the prosecution had no evidence. They even had a string of prosecution witnesses who testified for the defense that Michael Jackson didn't do anything to them or their children.

My theory is that the media guessed he would be proven innocent, and hyped him as guilty so that people would be outraged and watch more news coverage.

The prosecutors in Michael Jackson's child molestation and conspiracy trial apparently feel they've already won their case.

On Wednesday night, the whole lot of them — DA Tom Sneddon, Ron Zonen, Gordon Auchincloss, their wives and families — all celebrated at the Hitching Post restaurant in Casmalia.

The Hitching Post, cousin of the Buellton restaurant featured in the movie "Sideways," is considered the best restaurant in the greater Santa Maria area.
