Hopefully, somewhere in that twisted mind is a conscious.

1. Just as all those found innocent in the criminal justice system?
Edited on Mon Jun-13-05 09:33 PM by wuushew
I fail to understand your point unless you are insinuating guilt.

16. He was not found "innocent".
"Not Guilty" does not mean "Innocent".

Until PROVEN guilty, of course.

Then he'll be free to continue in the lifestyle he's accustomed. Too much baggage here.

34. Nobody here supports molestation!!
Christ Almighty. Some people trust the Jury and the court of law! Some people believe he was innocent. Some people believe the evidence that the accuser's mother was hitting other celebs up for money and exploiting her childs illness for quick cash.

Believe the tabloids, but try not to insult other DU'ers. Absolutely no one is supporting molestation. And if someone was, the mods would take care of it.

7. If he's smart
He'll blow this pop stand of a Country! I wouldn't hang around here if I were him. The twisted mind belongs to those who sought to con him and smear his character. Michael Jackson is a bit on the strange side, but I don't think he is a sexual predator. I am happy he was acquitted.

Not since he was about 5 years old. He's been a virtual prisoner his entire life.

9. This is what I keep thinking about -- the allegations that his father
abused him. The possibility that what his father did to him, he did to another.

I hope and pray that MJ wasn't 'let off the hook' because he could pay for the best defense; and that if anything ever happened with that kid or any other kid that MJ gets help so that it never happens again.

If he is innocent then I hope and pray that he finds peace.

10. donheld, my first thought. He is not free and will not be.
His life is a freak show I wouldnt wish on anyone.

I dont know if he was guilty or not but the 12 people that sat and listened and decided this were not convinced. I accept that. The case was not made or not made well enough.

22. I believe he is a child molester and should be punished.
I don't care what made him that way. He needs to pay for what he's done and the people who try to shield him from that responsiblity are just as guilty IMHO.

30. Where were you when law enforcement couldn't build a case good.....
...enough to convict Jackson on even ONE out of ten counts? You evidently have lots of additional evidence that the police and the prosecutor could have used to convict Jackson and send him away for a long time. You should be ashamed for having withheld all of that evidence.

Oh, you don't personally have any evidence? You say you were relying on the mainstream media to provide factual information about the evidence?

Oh.

Hmmmm.

14. "Not guilty" is not synonymous with "innocent". Merely means not enough
to convict. One reasonable doubt is all it takes. Not two.

Jackson now joins other celebrity acquittals with careers in shambles after their trials: Fatty Arbuckle (rape), OJ Simpson (double murder).

20. We had similiar case in a nearby neighborhood.
What came to light was that for years the father of one of the neighborhood girls was molesting his daughters friends and threatening them if they told. We suspect that 28 girls were involved although only 14 came forward. The father pled guilty and was placed on probation for 3 years. No prison time at all.

How could any caring & responsible adult support anyone with ethics as questionable as those of Michael Jackson? That's more disturbing than the verdict to me.

26. One must also hope that people can learn to accept the time-honored....
...concept of innocent until proven guilty.

Additionally, if a person is found innocent by a court of law, that doesn't mean that he or she is guilty anyway.

IMHO, some people have gone too far in thinking that anyone charged with a crime is automatically guilty. For that I blame the mainstream media and those that have slowly been brainwashed by the likes of Nancy Grace.

28. He was found not guilty
and until proven otherwise I will assume he his. Just because someone is weird doesn't make him a child molester. I'll bet there are some weirdo's on this board, what does that make them?
I just hope he learns his lesson and stops surrounding himself with underage boys. I also hope that parents are especially cautious about leaving their children alone with a grown man they really don't know, whether it's Michael Jackson or someone else.

Most Americans believe Jackson to be guilty. It's just that another starstruck jury let him off. It'll happen again. Meanwhile I'll just do whatever I can to defame him.
