When will the media turn it loose?
The Michael Jackson trial is over. Yet, this morning, all the cable shows have rounded up the jurors to keep it going just one more day. God forbid they might have to do some real journalism. What's next? They interview the families of the jurors to see how their lives were affected by the MJ trial???

1. A few more nights of round table discussions with all the 'experts' and...
the MJ trial ordeal should die out by next weekend....hopefully!!! Sure would be nice if DSM got center stage...we will see!!!

2. Perhaps a feature on how the animals at the Neverland ranch...
have been mentally traumatized. Unfortunately, Springer and Stephanie Miller are spending way too much time on it this morning. I do think that the not guilty verdict means a shorter period of analysis.

3. If They Hadn't Thought Of That Yet, They Will Now
Edited on Tue Jun-14-05 08:54 AM by AndyTiedye
Of course, they were all hoping MJ would get put away, since they could
milk that for months, since there would certainly be appeals, and they
could go on endlessly about what it would be like for him in prison
(without actually touching on any of the things about prisons that
really need to be fixed)....

Anything, ANYTHING to keep the Downing Street Minutes out of the news!

and suck the life out of that too while we continue to get the real news fron DU, Raw Story, Consortium News, AAR, etc.

What the Hell. Sounds good to me. I'm voting for Wednesday.

Got it, corporo-weak-spine media? Good.

6. Shoulda heard Soledad O'Brien this morning...
She got Juror #1 (who is already on record as having some "doubts" about MJ's innocence) and proceded to try and convict MJ right then and there. She took the man through the ringer asking him over, and over if he did not feel he had "let a child molester free". Finally, the guy said "I've already answered that question." Then she got MJ's main lawyer Meserau (sp?) and grilled him about didn't he think Jackson should change his behavior and was Meserau going to do something about it (like he is now MJ's guardian). I tell you, this media (and particularly CNN) is just full of rank BS! It was ghastly to listen to this.

On another channel (some regular network channel) three women were discussing that MJ should move to Europe.

Look, the man was acquitted. It is now none of these people's business what MJ does or does not do in the future. Yep, you can tell that they are just heartsick that he was not convicted and thrown to the wolves in prison.

7. MJ is this century's Fatty Arbuckle.
Win or lose, innocent or guilty, the guy has been destroyed. What he needs to do now is shrink his lifestyle, write his memoirs and try to live off his investments, because he's never going to work again.
