I'm at a total loss on that question, because I can't quite figure out how we've gotten this run over in the first place. I mean, I've always been suspicious of our government, but this? This is millions of people trying very hard to not see. And with that, I have no idea when they'll wake up and realize that, even if they *thought* the government was doing what they wanted, it isn't.
It's not that hard to figure out, that what we've been told has been full of lies. I've had access to all the resources I need, and so has the rest of the world. It's sad.
When will they start wanting freedom? When they realize they aren't really free enough to live peaceful, safe lives with daily meals and electricity? Either that, or they'll hate the liberals all the more, for having made it so difficult for our President to achieve his goals, blame "activists" as they have for the judicial nominations. As if, had everything the administration wanted gone smoothly, we would be okay. Or, maybe when "they" decide our riots and murders over things like food make our "right to bear arms" unmanageable to the police state, it will wake up some of the previously unconcerned people to the fact that they are not represented. Maybe when our towns become ghost towns and no one can afford gas, they'll get angry about how thing are.
I guess, for me, the biggest question now, now that the atrocities and the war has taken place, is whether or not the ones to blame will ever shoulder the blame. Will it be long after they're gone, or will we ourselves have the sweet vision of seeing them on trial? For me, that's the big question.
And, in terms of the history, I have to wonder how the massive change in information exchange has affected how that will happen. Were those crazy world domination planners truly able to factor in the internet? Can the winners truly write the history, when so so many of us on the internet have it ourselves? In writing, timelines with names and dates and places? I have to wonder how the truth can every be shut out, when for every person that *really* learns the truth, there can be no turning back. No reasonable person, bright or dim, can truly face the facts and agree the actions of this government were justified. It's not a muddied issue, the right and wrong sides, it's just one that's been lied about. One has to be a serious racists to find what was done acceptable, and most people aren't. So that being said, our side can only grow with time, and it will, no matter now slowly. Will it outpace the history rewriters? I guess we'll see. Someday.
