Any Young Democrats out there who oppose this war?
If so, I need your help...

The National Young Democrats conference is coming up in two months. They are taking Platform Planks Sugggestions. They have always been weak on International Policy.

So far PDA activists has passed Iraq Withdrawl Resolutions in California, New Mexico, New Hampshire, Massachusetts at their state conventions.

We use these small successes to help lobby Democratic Leaders to take a stand with folks like Woolsey, Conyers, Lee, Kucinich, etc. whom are taking a lead in tying to bring our troops home. We use these as a way to showcase that their grassroot Democratic Activists want the troops home!

We now need to organize this effort within the Youth wing of the Party.

The National YDA is asking to hear "planks" on the matter. Please, if your a registered Democrat and under 36... please go to http://platform.yda.org/ and submit a plank for the need for the Youth Wing of the Democratic Party to declair that this war is wrong, and we need our troops home!

Thank you!

7. As a young adult
I want the party to stand for chance. To stand for equality. To dream and have hope. To have trust. Know that who you elect as president will protect you and not lie.

3. I was so excited to be considered "young" at 30, I forgot I'm not a Dem...
I *did* start a Young Democrats club when I was in high school, but now I'm an independent. Wish I could help.

Thanks for considering me young! :toast:
