Have 'they' published the 'plan' yet?

I ask these questions because this is part of what was promised not only to the iraqis and the rest of the world but also to us americans including our solilders who are RIGHT now on an endless patrol on the stiffling, murderous sandy streets of iraq (and over 100 other countries in the world, plenty of them HOT, think afghanistan for starters and HELL NO the media will not report the absense of guardsmen on our streets during the blackout or a major natural disastor - isabel).

I think we owe it to EVERYONE but perhaps even more importantly RIGHT now to those folks on the ground on a mission... of liberation they and the rest of us were told, to DEMAND that they IMPLIMENT a DEMOCRACY in 'iraq' and they explain to EVERYONE in PLAIN ENGLISH how they are going to go about it and yes that includes a GENERAL TIMELINE.

who is applying pressure on this point?

can we use the current UN session to get the U.S. admin to at least commit to submitting their 'PLAN'?

i hope all of the dem canditates get on top of this issue and having the leadership on board would be a big plus as well.

i wonder what the commanders in the field tell their tropps :'(

peace

shoot they'll have a much better turn out then us ;->

but anyways...

aint that what THEY promised... right?

why can't we make'em stick to their promise or at the very least apply MASSIVE PREASURE?

don't we at least owe that to our troops, if no one else...

8. the problem
is that they will vote for an islamic party and we cant allow that.

The situation will be practicly like how algeria became after france left.

the ppl votes islamic, its not acceptable, the same political party sits in power forever.

3. L. Paul Bremer testified before the Senate today...
and in response to a direct question about his plan, he said it wasn't classified and was on his website, RomanProCounsil.com? Sorry, I don't know the website, but it must be Dept of Defense or Operation Iraqi Liberation so something similar.

I wish I could remember the web site, but will post here if I do.

I think if may just be a reconstruction plan, but it is a start.

AP: Bush Paper Details Iraq Spending Plan
54 minutes ago

By ALAN FRAM, Associated Press Writer

...

"Expeditious approval of this emergency appropriation is critical for the coalition to lay the groundwork for an Iraq governed by and for the people of Iraq, to serve as the model for democracy in the Mideast and to help fight the global war on terrorism by providing an alternative framework for governance," the request states.

i think we need to get them to lay out THOSE paticulars before they get another red cent. :argh:

and ANOTHER THING... since OUTSOURCING is all the rage on wall street... why can't we OUTSOURCE most of this stuff to the iraqis? i am sure they will charge MUCH LESS then halliburton and the rest, no?

10. One thing is clear. The titular head of the government will be
an Ayatollah, once the puppet installed by BushCo is knocked off. Of that, you can be certain.

12. First step is to write a Constitution
I would imagine they'd have to have a lot of regional authority. They're supposed to be done with the Constitution and gearing up for first elections in about a year.

I'm skeptical. I believe there's a real possibility of everything going fine. They write a constitution, elect a leader -- who immediately makes himself a dictator and throws the constitution away. Hope I'm wrong.
