There aren't a whole lot of John Kerry avatars here anymore.

Lots of Deans, lots of Clarks, a few Edwardses....but not too many Kerrys.

Strange. There's no hidden meaning here, just something I've noticed.

1. He disappointed me.

I'm not going to "bash" him, I still think he would have made a good, maybe even marvelous president -- but who wants to have as an avatar a guy who is basically skulking in the background?

4. Kerry dissapointed alot of people....

He seems to have long left his "official prosecutor" position.....Didn't challenge the vote fraud....Didn't challenge the jeff gannons....Didn't challenge all the crazy anti-reform bills, bankruptcy bills...Didn't go out in force on guantanamo bay...

There's too many things he just flat out ignored or refused to respond to. Latest is the minutes, won't hold my breath. But I always contain the hope he'll call it like it is and prosecute them....

6. You've got to be kidding. Kerry put up his own money for full page ads in

USAToday to denounce Bush and GOP for attacks on filibuster and pushing through nominees that deserved strong opposition. He was one of the leaders in fighting Condoleezza Rice, John Bolton, and Alberto Gonzalez.

He's pushing through a KidsFirst universal healthcare program for every child and funding the tv ad campaign. He's been holding townhall meetings for a few months on this and all over the country.

He traveled with a panel of Dems who spoke against Bush's Social Security plan.

He pushed through a benefits bill for veterans and increased funding and care for families of those killed.

He recently forced BushInc to administer program designed to give government business to small business owners.

He worked against the bankruptcy bill.

He's working to get other senators to join him to force Bush to answer questions on DSM. After he attacked the media silence on DSM, they finally started to cover it.

Where do you get your news?

5. As strong a supporter as they come, but not into avatars or advertising...

I'm far too serious and into hard news to limit myself to any label.

Besides, I like most Democrats while my main focus is to further the overthrow of the BFEE.....that is all.
