Let's assemble the next cabinet
Who would you like to be on it, and why.

The first selection should go to Al Gore, and he's qualified to hold any number of posts.

1. The question is, Does the Senate advise and consent to the nomination of
Al Gore, of Tennessee, to be Secretary of State?

9. I'd like Carol Browner back as EPA chief.
Browner was the best director in the history of this country. We'd need someone like her to get the agency turned around after the Shrub administration.

If Clark doesn't get President or VP, he'd be my first choice for Defense.

Though it's not a cabinet position, how about Al Franken for press secretary. ;)

I'd also like Paul Krugman for Treasury or SEC chair.

15. Spitzer would be a great AG, but
it would better serve the interests of the party if he runs for NY Governor first. As great as he is, and as much as he is needed to portray the image that the new Democratic administration is serious about coming down hard on corporate fraud, there are others who can do the job adequately. How about Henry Waxman? John Conyers? Russ Feingold? David Boies?
